Mathilde Contreras Latorre (intern in 2023)

I have a bachelor’s degree in history, and I am currently in my last year of master’s degree in history with a specialization in Archiving from the Free University of Brussels. My master’s thesis focuses on medico-legal expertise in Brussels between 1900 and 1930, and I am currently doing an internship in the FORCE project. The research project consists of analyzing the forensic network in Europe during the first half of the 20th century.

Mathilde will be working together with dr. Willemijn Ruberg (PI of ‘Forensic Cultures’) and dr. Elwin Hoffman (Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow at Utrecht University working on the project ‘Interpsy’)
