Anne van Dam MA

Anne van Dam is the project assistant of the FORCE project and a PhD-candidate at Leiden University.  She finished her Research Master in World Art Studies in 2014 at Leiden University with a thesis about intercultural art history in nineteenth-century Germany. After graduating, she worked as a freelance researcher and project manager in the field of art history and cultural policy. Aside from working for FORCE, she is currently working on a PhD-project at Leiden University as an external candidate, where she studies the formation of art history as an academic discipline between 1850 and 1900.
